Govan-based Loop Theatre Group Forrest School

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Govan-based, Loop Theatre Group, which works to break down individual barriers for people with learning disabilities; notes that the group has been meeting at Bishops Loch near Easterhouse where it plans to create a performance based in the woods for schoolchildren and the local community; understands that members of Loop are working on their own version of Robin Hood, called Rabbie Heed, which will incorporate the medieval history linked with the area; acknowledges that Loop decided to use some of the money that it raised from its Kiltwalk to invest in a Forrest School, and notes that, so far, approximately 15 people have taken part in the three Saturday sessions, including 10 participants and five members of staff and volunteers.
