Filming of The Crown in Macduff
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the growing popularity of the northeast as a location for film and television production, with Macduff being the latest town to benefit during recent filming of The Crown; acknowledges the hard work of many volunteers and different agencies in the filming process; thanks the local communities for their patience, understanding and the warm welcome they gave to the film production crew; commends them for recognising the positive benefits in promoting the stunning Banffshire and Buchan Coast to the wider world, and wishes them continued partnership and success in the future.
