Brechin Healthcare Group
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the hard work and dedication of the community volunteers of the Brechin Healthcare Group; believes that the group is working hard to deliver vital health and education services locally in partnership with businesses, the NHS and the third sector, and that those services have proven to be vital during the COVID-19 pandemic; further believes that local services, including drug, mental health and sexual health services, are vital for the community; understands that the group’s future plans require relocation to more appropriate facilities; further understands that the group has identified the site of the former Brechin Infirmary as the ideal location; notes that the group has applied for a community asset transfer of the infirmary buildings, and wishes everyone involved the best of luck in delivering this exciting project.
