Reverend John Brewster's Retirement
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Reverend John Brewster as he retires from Greenhills Parish Church in East Kilbride after 33 years of service; recognises his love for getting involved in many community groups over the years, and that he played an integral part of the local area; understands that he was chaplain at Hairmyres Hospital for more than two decades, played an active role in organising and participating in the Greenhills Panto Club for 27 years, and that he will be missed by many people, and wishes him a long and happy retirement as he returns to Kirkcaldy in Fife to be with his family.
