Josh Kerr's Olympic Success

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Morningside resident, Josh Kerr, on his bronze medal in the 1500m athletics event at the Olympic Games in Tokyo; acknowledges that he came back from finishing seventh in his heat to shave 2.5 seconds off his personal best to come home in 3:29.05, and welcomes Josh to the pantheon of athletes who have honed their craft in Edinburgh, including Sir Chris Hoy, Dame Katherine Grainger and David Wilkie.
