Luke Buchan Donates Funds Raised for Cancelled Trip to Local Mental Health Charities
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the remarkable generosity of the Peterburgh activist, Luke Buchan, for his charitable work and contribution to the local community; understands that, having raised a sum of £2,000 for a World Challenge trip to India that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Luke donated the amount raised in its entirety to Shirley’s Space and Men United Peterhead, two local mental health charities; commends Luke for selflessly contributing to his community in the face of personal disappointment, looks forward to learning of his further achievements, and wishes him every success in future endeavours.
