Well Done, Samantha

That the Parliament congratulates Samantha Kinghorn, who is from Melrose, on her Paralympic bronze medal in the T53 100m, finishing in 16.53sec and just a quarter of a second behind the winner; recognises that this builds on Samantha's fifth place in the 2016 games and notes her plan to compete again in the Paris event in 2024; believes that having athletes from their community achieve such levels of success on the international stage serves as an inspiration for young people hoping to follow their example, and wishes Samantha every success in her future competitions.
