RMT Democratic Right to Ballot for Industrial Action

That the Parliament notes the ongoing ballot by RMT, which is consulting its members over potential industrial action; considers this to be a matter for the workforce and employer and will be respected as the democratic result regardless of COP26 in Glasgow, or any other time-specific event, and hopes, above all else, for a satisfactory resolution ahead of the long-awaited nationalisation of ScotRail, which it believes will benefit the travelling public and railway workers alike.
