Commending Inspirational Head Teacher Gordon Moulsdale

The motion

That the Parliament commends Mr Gordon Moulsdale, head teacher of Bishopbriggs Academy, for his 16 years of leadership; understands that Mr Moulsdale is leaving the vocation to pursue a senior corporate position in a family business; pays tribute to Mr Moulsdale's consistent commitment to pupils and staff in enabling high levels of attainment and personal achievement; applauds his innovative, motivational senior management team; praises the dynamic staff in encouraging positive outcomes for all; understands that this popular head teacher is held in high regard by colleagues, pupils, families and the wider community, not only in Bishopbriggs, but in the Strathkelvin and Bearsden constituency and beyond; believes that his work will leave a legacy in the lives of many young people and in the school itself; thanks Mr Moulsdale for his service, and wishes him every future success.
