June Vallance Retirement

That the Parliament recognises the exceptional work carried out by June Vallance on behalf of the people of the Fortissat area of Airdrie and Shotts over the last 20 years; commends her for the commitment shown to bring the ideas of Shotts Getting Better Together and the Shotts Healthy Living Centre to fruition, and establishing them as the main go-to services for people in need, in the Shotts area; applauds her role as chair of Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire for ten years; considers that, without her determination and drive, Fortissat would be a far poorer community, in terms of advice, assistance and co-operation, and wishes her well for her retirement on 30 September 2021.
