Kings Arms Wins Sunday Mail Pub of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the owners and staff of The Kings Arms pub, in Fenwick, on winning the DRAM Magazine Sunday Mail Pub of the Year at the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards 2021; notes that their success comes despite owners, Mikey Lennon and Gareth Kelly, only taking over the pub 18 days before the first national lockdown, in March 2020; understands that the duo have invested tens of thousands of pounds refurbishing the historic inn, which dates from the 18th century; commends the team at the Kings Arms for all their efforts in making it a success since then, which has culminated in this award, and wishes them continued success in the future.
