Congratulations to Laila McRae as Scottish Power Foundation Awards Champion

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates eight-year-old, Laila McRae, from East Kilbride, who was crowned the Charity Champion at the annual Scottish Power Foundation Awards 2021; applauds her efforts for raising £2,000 for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland; notes that the charity supports her sister, Amber, who was born with the condition and who required multiple operations throughout the first year of her life, and recognises Laila’s inspirational achievements in supporting the charity, as it continues its vital work during these challenging times.
