Peter Downie, Airdrie and Shotts Local Hero

That the Parliament recognises the fantastic work carried out by Peter Downie, on behalf of former miners, around the Airdrie and Shotts constituency before, during and amidst the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic; applauds his efforts in gaining recognition for those who died in mining accidents, and praises his selfless acts of kindness in the local community, which saw him nominated as the Airdrie and Shotts local hero.
