Congratulations to Alexandria’s Gordon Reid and his Doubles Partner, Alfie Hewett

The motion

That this Parliament acknowledges the achievements of Gordon Reid, who is from Alexandria, and his doubles partner, Alfie Hewett, and congratulates them on winning a calendar grand slam, notes that, by winning the US Open, the British pair have become the first men to win all four wheelchair tennis Grand Slam titles in the same year,  and considers that, by doing so, they serve as a shining example to people all over the country.
