Tesco Youth Hub Hailed Scottish First
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work undertaken by the recently-established Tesco Youth hub, which is located in the car park of Tesco in the Summerhill area of Aberdeen and was set up as the result of a partnership between Police Scotland, shop management and various community organisations; understands that this hub is the first of its kind in Scotland; believes that this has not only help lead to a 90% decrease in antisocial behaviour among young people within the area, but has created a safe space for them to go, and notes that the hub's users have created a mural, leading to the young people being able to call the area their own.
