Oban Royal National Lifeboat Institution
The motion
That the Parliament appreciates the contributions of Oban’s Royal National Lifeboat Institution volunteers on 12 September 2021 with three emergency call-outs and seven hours spent at sea; congratulates them on the successful rescue of a yacht and crew that had run aground; commends them for the work that they do to support the coastguard, emergency services and general public; recognises the full-time mechanic, Tom Kennedy, on his 400th call-out with the service, and wishes everyone involved well for the future.
