Inverclyde Group, 6foot Lab, Awarded £140,000 to Transform Derelict Land

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates 6foot Lab on receiving £140,000 from the Scottish Government’s new low-carbon Vacant and Derelict Land Investment Programme, which aims to drive regeneration, enhance the environment and tackle the climate crisis; recognises that the Inverclyde-based group will use this funding to transform derelict land in the area, helping to create jobs and bring the community together; notes that groups seeking funding for 2022-23 are invited to apply; hopes other community groups in Inverclyde consider doing so, and wishes 6foot Lab all the best as it embarks on the project.
