University of St Andrews Ranked Number One in The Times' University Rankings

That the Parliament congratulates the University of St Andrews on being ranked number one in The Times' university rankings; notes that this is the first time any institution other than Oxford or Cambridge has achieved this accolade, and welcomes that Scotland’s oldest university is recognised as the UK's best, given what it sees as the importance for the people of the Edinburgh Southern constituency and across Scotland of the country having world-class higher education institutions.
