Lanarkshire Teens First in Scotland to Receive a COVID-19 Vaccination

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Molly Rowe, 15, who attends St John Ogilvie High School in Hamilton, and Harry Yates, 14, of East Kilbride, on, it understands, being the first 12- to 15-year-olds in Scotland to receive a COVID-19 vaccination; notes that the teens were given the Pfizer jab at the Fernhill Community Centre, in Rutherglen; thanks everyone involved with the successful and safe rollout of these vaccines at the community centre, and believes that vaccinating young people in this age group could play a massive factor in halting the spread of COVID-19 during winter 2021-22.
