Loreburn Housing Association Triumph at Housing Heroes Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Loreburn Housing Association’s In-house Repairs Unit on winning the coveted Team of the Year category at the 2021 Housing Heroes Awards, which were organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing; recognises the importance of this honour, as it celebrates the achievements of social housing providers and shines a light on the hard work carried out across the housing sector over the last 12 months; notes that the team achieved this prestigious national award despite the challenging times caused by the COVID-19 pandemic; believes that it demonstrated outstanding commitment to ensure that customers remained safe, warm and cared for throughout; acknowledges that every member of the team enjoys strong links with the Loreburn community and that they received the honour after impressing the judging panel by going above and beyond their remit to provide valuable support to customers, many of whom are disabled, and wishes the team continued success in the future.
