North East Scotland Preservation Trust Fraserburgh Redevelopment
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the North East Scotland Preservation Trust (NESPT) on the work in transforming the former Bank of Scotland and adjacent former John Trails book shop, in Fraserburgh, into a new hotel; recognises this £2.5 million project was funded by the Aberdeenshire Town Centre Fund, Fraserburgh 2021, the Aberdeenshire Regeneration Fund, and Place Based Investment Programme, and assisted by the Architectural Heritage Fund; notes that this project has allowed the main contractor, V G Willox Ltd, to recruit three additional apprentices, Owen Park, Dylan Wray, and Liam Ingles; wishes them the best for their time with the project, and looks forward to the creation of a new building in Fraserburgh.
