The motion

That the Parliament commends the efforts of Stella’s Voice in Peterhead and Camphill School Aberdeen, which are refurbishing bicycles and sending them to Moldova, to help change the lives of young people who are at a high risk of becoming victims of human trafficking; notes that the project sees disabled people leading the refurbishments, helping them learn life skills and gain confidence while saving the bicycles from landfill; recognises that this sterling example of circular economy also provides green transportation for young people in poor rural areas, resulting in life-changing opportunities such as access to further education and jobs previously out of reach, and wishes the staff, volunteers and all involved with this continued success.
