See Us Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the See Us campaign, which is led by See Me and aims to encourage people across Scotland to take action to end mental health stigma and discrimination; acknowledges that polling for the campaign suggests that 71% of people with mental health problems have experienced stigma and discrimination; welcomes the campaign's aims to grow a movement of people who are helping to change this and to improve the lives of people with mental health problems; supports the aim to give everyone the tools and resources that they need to be able to take action; encourages everyone to visit seemescotland.org to learn about and considering becoming part of the movement, and acknowledges the wider, ongoing work required to eliminate stigma and discrimination around mental health.
