Epic Cycle by Paul McIlwain from Irvine

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Paul McIlwain, from Irvine, on cycling from Land's End to John o’ Groats to raise money for Whiteley’s Retreat in Ayrshire; understands that he raised £3,795 to help the charity provide therapeutic breaks for children and families affected by cancer and other life-changing conditions; appreciates that Paul took up the challenge after learning to walk again following a road traffic accident in which he broke both his legs; commends him on completing the cycle, and wishes him every future success.
