Long Term Conditions Hebrides
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Long Term Conditions Hebrides on winning the Self Management in the Community category at the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland's Self Management Awards; understands that it was set up by people with long-term conditions to offer self- management advice and peer support; notes that it offer four drop-in sessions per week, providing a variety of services including self-management techniques, discussion opportunities and mindfulness sessions; acknowledges the close partnership links that it has formed with NeuroHebrides and the GP surgery at Broadbay Medical Practice, and recognises what it sees as the benefits that this volunteer-led service has had in the community.
