We Are With You Receives Funding Boost

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Kirkintilloch-based team of We Are With You on being awarded £50,000 by the National Lottery Young Start scheme, which reallocates money from dormant bank accounts; notes that this will be used to launch a bespoke service for young people by offering holistic support to help them overcome substance misuse issues; praises its Development Manager, Christine McCauley, and her dedicated team for their commitment to families in the community through their non-judgemental approach and early intervention care; thanks East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action for its support in helping the organisation access funding channels, and wishes We Are With You every success in the delivery of its specialist recovery support services for young people in the Strathkelvin and Bearsden constituency.
