Shetland Young Fiddler of the Year 2021 Takes Place

That the Parliament commends Shetland Young Fiddler of the Year 2021; welcomes the return of the competition, which was cancelled in April 2020 and postponed in April 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic; notes the mitigations that were in place to try to limit the spread of the virus; congratulates the winner, Magnus Williamson, who won both the Senior Open and Senior Traditional competitions, and all the winners across all the categories; commends the judges, organisers and all who took part for bringing back a successful competition, and looks forward to the future events showcasing Shetland’s young talent.
