Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living - Retirement of Etienne D’Aboville
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the extensive and long standing contribution of Etienne D’Aboville to the Independent Living Movement; commends his dedication to disabled people’s equality and human rights and considerable track record in securing them for many disabled people across Glasgow and beyond; recognises the importance of user led organisations like the Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living and leaders like Etienne, who inspire other disabled people to lead too; congratulates him for his work; notes that he retires this week from his role as CEO of the Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living; thanks him for all that he did, and wishes him well in his retirement.
