Lifesaving Defibrillator for St Ninians
The motion
That the Parliament praises the efforts of St Ninians Community Council, in securing the installation of a defibrillator device at the toll shopping precinct; understands that over 3000 people across Scotland of all ages suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest every year; congratulates the members of St Ninians Community Council in securing the necessary funding and location to enable members of the public to access and use the device easily, and recognises the huge benefit access to a defibrillator has in increasing the chances of survival for those suffering a cardiac arrest.
