Scotland Women’s Rugby Team

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Scotland women’s rugby team, including Borderers Lisa Thomson, Chloe Rollie and Lana Skeldon, on taking a giant step towards qualifying for the Rugby World Cup in 2022; recognises the passion, skill and tenacity with which the team plays when representing the country on an international stage; praises the team for bringing the spotlight on women’s rugby in Scotland and inspiring the next generation of players, and wishes the team well in the upcoming repechage tournament where it can seal qualification for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
