Grampian Pride 2021 Winter Parade

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the return of Grampian Pride, organised by Four Pillars, which is an LGBT+ organisation that does fantastic work to support people across the north east of Scotland; notes that the 2021 Winter Pride Parade will be held on 24 October 2021; appreciates that this year's theme will be remembering the past, celebrating the present, and embracing the future; understands that, for some, pride is not only a celebration but continues to be a protest for further LGBT+ rights and inclusion; commends Four Pillars, its staff and volunteers, and everyone involved, for ensuring the event is safe and welcoming for all who would like to take part; looks forward to the return of Grampian Pride, and passes on its best wishes for continued success in the future.
