Ayrshire Bulls, Ayr Rugby Football Club

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Ayrshire Bulls on winning the FOSROC Super6 tournament at the finals hosted at the DAM Health Stadium in Edinburgh; notes that Ayr Rugby, which runs the Ayrshire Bulls, won the 2018-19 Scottish Rugby Premiership and Cup for the second time, following the same achievement in 2012-13; highlights that Ayr Rugby is one of five clubs to achieve the double and holds the wholly unique achievement of holding the Scottish Rugby Premiership and Cup while simultaneously being the FOSROC Super6 Champions; recognises the significance of the FOSROC Super6 tournament for Scottish Rugby, which bridges the gap between community club rugby and the full-time professional game, and acknowledges the value that Ayr Rugby places on all of its players, including its women's teams.
