Jordan Electrics Limited Donates to Newmains Christmas Tree and Lights Appeal

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the family firm, Jordan Electrics Ltd, from Newmains, North Lanarkshire, on donating the significant amount of £4,000 to the Newmains Christmas Tree and Lights Appeal, which was launched by the Newmains Community Council; notes that the Community Council had previously put out a call for the appeal and received an overwhelming number of donations from both residents and businesses in the area; understands that Jordan Electrics Ltd contributed to ensuring that the village has festive cheer during the holiday period, especially after a challenging 18 months, and wishes Newmains Community Council and Jordan Electrics Ltd all the very best for the future.
