East Kilbride Community Litter Pickers Shortlisted for Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates East Kilbride Community Litter Pickers on being shortlisted for the Partnership and Collaboration Award at the Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire Third Sector Awards 2021; recognises the fantastic work that has been carried out by the volunteers, alongside members of East Kilbride Walks and the East Kilbride History and Development Group, in order to address the issue of litter in their local area; understands that the group has been working closely with schools to educate children and raise awareness of issues in the area, and wishes the East Kilbride Community Litter Pickers, which now stands at over 1,700 members, all the very best for the future.
