Cumnock on BBC Scotland’s My Kind of Town

The motion

That the Parliament notes that Cumnock featured on BBC Scotland’s My Kind of Town on 27 October 2021; understands that Cumnock was the first town to feature on the series and that, during the episode, Townhead Park, Yipworld and Woodroad Park all featured; further understands that the episode discussed how Cumnock plans to transform itself into the country’s first "green" town, and that it explored Emergency One, which, it understands, is the UK’s largest manufacturer of ambulances, as well as other businesses in Cumnock, and considers that the episode reflects the pride that the people of Cumnock have in their town.
