Banff Toy Bank

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the continued success of Banff Toy Bank, a project founded in 2018 that has brought joy to many underprivileged children and families in the Banff area; understands that volunteers restore used toys in order to bring much happiness at Christmas time to children and families who are affected by what it sees as the poverty crisis, which it considers is all too apparent in the Banffshire and Buchan Coast constituency and across Scotland; celebrates Banff Toy Bank's sense of community spirit and innovation; considers that toy recycling plays a crucial role in living a more sustainable lifestyle; thanks all the staff and volunteers involved, and sends its best wishes for every success in the future.
