International Recognition for Milngavie Author

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the achievement of Professor Ross Deuchar who received the 2021 Outstanding Book Award from the American Society of Criminology; commends Professor Deuchar, who attended Douglas Academy in Milngavie and is now a Professor of Criminology at the University of the West of Scotland, and notes that he wrote the book, Police-Community Relations in Times of Crisis, with colleagues from Florida Atlantic University.
