Commending the Celebrating Ferguslie Event and Awards

The motion

That the Parliament notes the fantastic Celebrating Ferguslie event and award ceremony that took place on 22 October 2021 at the Tannahill Centre in Ferguslie Park, Paisley; commends all those who organised, supported and attended this great event, which celebrated the wonderful Ferguslie community and those who give their time and energy to contribute to it; congratulates and commends in particular the major award winners, Darkwood Crew, Brenda Cook, Mandy Chappel, Barry Gilfillan, The New Tannahill Centre and Aidan McGrogam; commends the superb hosting of the event by Darren McGarvey and Terry McTernan, the wonderful music of the Saturday Singers choir, and the delicious buffet meal provided by The Community Café, and sends its best wishes to the Ferguslie community, and all of its residents, as it continues to thrive.
