Anti-Bullying Week 2021
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that 15 to 19 November is Anti-Bullying Week 2021; understands that this year’s theme, One Kind Word, aims to break the cycle of bullying by starting a chain reaction of kindness and positivity towards others; acknowledges that the theme has been developed along with young people in the hope that schools, organisations and individuals will take part in the campaign; pledges to work on a cross-party basis by setting an example in treating each other with dignity, respect and kindness, and reflects on the position of MSPs as elected representatives with what it sees as a duty of care to think about their actions and words, both in the Parliament and online, when they are directed towards the general public and colleagues, including their staff.
