UK Government to Invest £3.5 Million to Level Up Ayrshire
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the UK Government’s recent commitment to level up Ayrshire by providing almost £3.5 million through the Community Renewal Fund, which aims to invest in people, boost skills and support community businesses, with projects in East Ayrshire, such as a re-use hub for New Cumnock and leisure at the heart of all communities, receiving a large proportion of this; believes that this will strengthen communities by boosting employment and attracting tourism, and welcomes what it sees as the continued support from the UK Government to help people in Ayrshire.
