Corbie Inn Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Corbie Inn, in Bo’ness; understands that the Corbie Inn was opened by Gail and Giles Fairholm and their family, on 28 October 2011, with a simple mission to offer real ale and good food in a safe, child and family-friendly environment; recognises that, over the past decade, the family and their staff have helped and supported local fundraising and charity activities, and have won several accolades from organisations, such as Best Bar None and the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA); notes that as part of the celebrations 10 people won £50 vouchers in a free draw run by Bo’ness Fair Queen Ellie and her brother; further notes the efforts involved in providing the “Corbie Out” service during the pandemic by delivering food and drink to residents in the local area; further congratulates Gail, Giles, their family and the staff at the Corbie Inn on their 10th anniversary, and looks forward to visiting in the near future.
