Victoria Ballantyne Receives Nuffield Farming Scholarship

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Victoria Ballantyne, who runs Clynelish Farm in Brora with her husband, Jason, on winning the prestigious Nuffield Farming Scholarship; commends Victoria for being one of only two from Scotland to achieve this award, which provides a bursary for travel for eight weeks for study; notes that she plans to research how farmers use the condition score in maternal female livestock in areas of the North Highlands and will also investigate how livestock farmers in countries with extreme climates approach this issue; acknowledges the hard work and commitment put in to receive the award, and wishes Victoria well in her research project and for the future.
