Cerys McCrindle, Prestwick
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Cerys McCrindle from Prestwick on representing Down Syndrome Swimming GB at the Open European TriGames 2021, in Ferrara, Italy; recognises her success and that of her whole team, including her partner, Laura Logan, from Coylton, in producing medals, breaking world records, and achieving many personal bests; notes her continued dedication to the sport despite being unable to compete for two years; expresses its gratitude to Cerys for representing Scotland in sports internationally and during Women in Sports Week 2021, from 25 October, and celebrates the talent and drive of all women in Scottish sports.
