North Berwick Rotary Club's Generous Donation to CHAS
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Rotary Club of North Berwick for raising over £2,000 for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS); acknowledges that a portion of the proceeds came from a recent sponsored golf competition at Kilspindie Golf Club; notes that the club annually raises funds for charities throughout the country, while also encouraging local sports clubs to fundraise for CHAS by presenting trophies for their yearly competitions; further notes the important services that CHAS provides to children across Scotland, and commends the Rotary Club for its donation.
