NHS Celebrating Success Awards - Staff Member of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Laura Clelland, who has won Staff Member of the Year in the NHS Celebrating Success awards; acknowledges that Ms Clelland is a clinical support worker at East Lothian Community Hospital who was shortlisted for her work to create a hair salon for older patients in the Haddington hospital’s Oak Tree ward; notes that the Staff Member of the Year category honours individuals who go above and beyond in their day-to-day work, but who perhaps do not have a high profile within their team, department or service, and thanks Laura Clelland, and her team at East Lothian Community Hospital, for their work over the last year.
