Talented Young Musicians in the Isles
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ryan Johnson on being named the most promising under-16 accordionist in Scotland, winning the Bill Wilkie Memorial Trophy at the Perth Accordion and Fiddle Festival; recognises the importance of young musicians in the Isles, by keeping traditional music thriving; acknowledges the positive effect that music has in Highland and Island communities, by bringing people together, and wishes Ryan Johnson and other wonderful young musicians every success in the future.
