Falkirk Distillery Bottles First New Make Spirit
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Falkirk Distillery Company on bottling up the first of its New Make spirit; considers that this is a huge milestone for the distillery and everyone involved, marking the next step in bringing a new, exciting Lowland spirit to market; understands that the Falkirk Distillery Company has been in development for over 10 years and is the creation of the Stewart family, led by George and his daughter Fiona, and has been on an incredible and inspiring journey of perseverance and hard work to get to this stage; congratulates George, Fiona and everyone involved at the Falkirk Distillery Company on this important next step, and looks forward to more whisky coming on-stream in due course.
