Pentlands Book Festival 2021
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Pentlands Book Festival will take place from the 15 to 22 November 2021; understands that the festival has a fantastic line-up this year, including a local hillwalker, a world-renowned cyclist, a Great British Bake-Off winner, a short-listed Booker author, and two graphic novelists; further understands that there are local history walks, in collaboration with Heriot-Watt University’s bi-centennial celebrations, for those who are interested; celebrates that these events are put on free of charge, though donations are welcome, and wishes the festival, its organisers, speakers and attendees the best for what will undoubtedly be a wonderful event.
