Man On! Inverclyde Community Wellbeing Support

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Man On! Inverclyde on being awarded £199,480 for its Community Wellbeing Support service, from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the grant offer was made from the Improving Lives fund to enable the organisation to build capacity and expand its mental health wellbeing support offering in Inverclyde over the next two years; appreciates that the aim of this project is to reduce the suicide rate in Inverclyde and help remove the stigma attached to mental ill-health; commends the group for all its work in this area, and wishes it well as it expands this commendable initiative.
