KigTek Solutions Pioneering Innovation in the Food and Beverage Industry
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Bellshill-based, technology integration engineering company, KigTek Solutions, on its achievements in the food and beverage industry; understands that KigTek Solutions has been awarded Siemens Food & Beverage Expert Partner Status; acknowledges that this accolade is held by only five companies in the UK; commends KigTek Solutions, working in conjunction with the National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland, for bringing to market a new method of filling whisky into casks, and understands that this innovative cask filling system, complemented by KigTek’s CaskTEK software, will increase the spirit volume filled into casks, realising further waste reduction and financial benefits for Scotland’s successful whisky industry.
